My good friend Kay is having an amazing giveaway. And of course I'm writing this post to enter the giveaway, but I'm also writing this to pass on a good product. Kay made me do it!!

So I was reading Kay's blog today and she really got me thinking, which in turn made me want to write a post. So I guess I'm back for now. :)

ANYWAYS, Kay was asked to pick the music she would liked played at her funeral for one of her classes. Immediately a couple came to mind but I didn't comment right away. Then, I started just listening to some music on my computer, and a WHOLE BUNCH of songs came to mind. So here's my list. Sorry if this gets long and depressing.

* Let the Mystery Be- Iris Dement
This song truly expresses how I feel about life, death, heaven, hell, etc...

*Also by Iris, Fifty Miles of Elbow Room, These Hills and Infamous Angel.
* Here Comes The Sun- The Beatles
* Back Where I Come From- Kenny Chesney
* Free Bird- Lynard Skynard
* Uncloudy Day- Willie Nelson

* My Wish and Broken Road - Rascal Flatts
* Bridge Over Troubled Water - Simon and Garfunkel

And for fun I'd like Honky Tonk Woman by The Rolling Stones and Heaven by Ozark Mountain Daredevils.

I'm done

I think I'm over the whole blogging thing (at least for the moment). See, I do this. I get really excited about something and then slowly but surely I get bored with it. *stares at the unused exercise books and piles of unused scrapbooking materials* So right now, I'm bored with blogging. Not bored with reading them, just bored with my own. So that's that. Maybe I'll be back, maybe not...

Sometimes...

I wish I had kept my blog private. I wish I didn't really know my readers and more importantly they didn't know me. If my blog was private, I would blog a thousand times more. I'm telling you this because that's been the reason for me not blogging lately. I've got alot on my mind these days and I don't feel comfortable putting it out here for certain people to read. Good news is I'm going home this weekend. I haven't been in almost a year. I get to see my BFF, visit my Dad's grave and be around comfortable surroundings. I'm hoping this trip will help clear my head. I'm sure venting to my BFF and talkin to my Dad will help. So hopefully I'll be bloggin more in the coming weeks. Spring is in the air and I have lots of stuff I want and have to do once the weather heats up. I'll also be sure to blog about my trip home. So I leave you with this video. This song says it all.

How could I have missed this???

Well folks, I have a new obsession. I'm addicted to pandora.com!! I know some of you are probably like "You just now heard about pandora?" I've heard about it and seen it on websites but never checked it out for myself. But about a week ago I decided to check it out. OMG!! Love it!!! So freaking awesome!! I'm finding all kinds of new music. And since I'm wanting to eventually start a music blog (which I promise will be more interesting than this one), I figure I couldn't have found anything better.

You can see what I'm listening to here.

Am I the last one to find out about this or what??

Please support my friend.

Everyone please support my friend, Brenda in her effort to wipe out blood cancer. She is participating in a Half-Ironman in Galveston, Texas in April to support the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Her goal is to raise $2,900 and she's over half way there. Any little bit helps! Thanks!

Weekend Recap/ Spring is HERE!!!!!

Wow! The past couple of days have been beautiful (except for a lil rain on Sunday). With all this warm weather and sunshine I suddenly find myself in a much better mood about everything. :) I have swore for years that I have seasonal depression. The Winter and cold just bring me down. But hopefully that's all over at least for the next 7 or 8 months.

On Saturday, Murphy and I went to the dog park for about an hour. I was a lil nervous about taking him because I wasn't sure how he would behave. But he did great! He ran and played with all the dogs, big and small. Here he is getting a much needed drink.

After the dog park, I brought Murphy home and went to do a lil shopping. I've been wanting new bedding for a looooong time. I bought this comforter and pillows. I like it, but it's not exactly what I wanted. It's also a lil too small. It's basically a cheap version of what I want. So it will work for now. Please excuse the window, I bought the wrong curtains and have to take them back.

Sunday, I took Murphy back to the dog park and also took Allen for a lil photo shoot. Here's my favorite pic from the day and you can check out the rest here.
